- Updates Medicaid eligibility in order to:
- Prevent loss of coverage during pregnancy
- Prevent payment delays
- Notifies the managed care plan of pregnancy
- Notifies the home health agency of the need for progesterone
- Assesses for additional patient needs
- Updates Medicaid eligibility in order to:
- The progesterone RX can also be printed and faxed or taken to the pharmacy

Effective July 14, 2020 – Prenatal Visit Agent Role Assignment
- PRAF Updates – Only users with the assigned prenatal visit agent role in Ohio Medicaid MITS system will be able to view and submit PRAF forms. If upon login you are unable to view and submit PRAF forms please contact your MITS Administrator and request that they assign you the prenatal visit agent role. If you have additional questions please submit a help ticket or email ODM at: Progesterone_PIP@medicaid.ohio.gov. Additional instructions on how to get access to the prenatal visit agent role can be found in Appendix A of the PRAF User Manual which is found above under “How to Get Access to NurtureOhio (PRAF 2.0)".
